OUR MISSION

Trails End Vizsla Club of Oregon was created in 1992 as a non-profit organization to encourage and promote quality breeding of pure-bred Vizslas and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection.

We urge members and breeders to accept the standard of the breed as approved by the American Kennel Club (AKC)as the only standard of excellence by which Vizslas shall be judged.

We do all in our power to protect and advance the interest of the Vizsla breed and to encourage sportsman like competition at dog shows, obedience trials, Hunt Tests, Agility trials, Tracking Tests, Field Trials, etc.

We are licensed by the AKC to conduct Pointing Breed Hunting Tests, Vizsla Specialty Shows, and Vizsla Obedience Events and we encourage members to comply with the Code of Ethics of the Vizsla Club of America..

OUR VALUES

1. We honor the genesis and nature of the canine/human relationship and seek to promote its existence for the continued betterment of both species.

2. Our dedication to the Vizsla is fundamental and we are committed to maintain, promote, and improve this noble breed. The human/Vizsla bond is a thing of ineffable grace to us and we endeavor to support and magnify it through education, training and practice of both human and Vizsla.

3. We are dedicated to the well being of all Vizslas and are devoted to their protection and rescue, to the best of our abilities and resources.
